Curriculum vitae

Francesca Corazza was born in Italy, where she graduated in Classics from the University of Parma (BA December 2009, cum laude; MA December 2011, cum laude). During her graduate-studies she worked as a tutor of students at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, as assistant in the library of the Classical and Medieval Philology, and attended an advanced Greek course at the University College of London (July 2011). Her dissertation as a PhD student in Prof. Philip van der Eijk’s research programme is concerned with the examination of the Late-antique medical papyri, focusing on the fresh material preserved exclusively in these papyri and totally lost in the manuscript tradition, and the contextualization of these sources in their own time, place, and culture.
